Is something wrong with wearing pink motorcycle gear?

So I’m at Chaparral looking for a new helmet. I find a pink and black one I thought looked nice but my guy friends I ride with told me to get the plain black one because pink “embarrasses” them. What the hell is that? I told them to shut up and bought it anyways but is it that bad to wear pink gear? I see girls all the time in it.. Opinions?

Pink is a color which is most preferred by the feminine world. Kinda girlish stuff u know ! Not that Guys shouldn’t wear one but somehow it symbolises the tastes of girls. Its actually universal. So dude, keep the one you bought recently at home and buy a new one with a macho taste.

If i saw someone wearing pink when i was out bike riding, i’d follow u home lol.
(and if it was a guy, i’d punch his head in for wasting my fuel)

And as for you’re “friends”—screw what they think, if YOU like it that’s all that matters.
My friends bag me about my pinkish helmet, and i just show them up when i get all the ****** numbers when I’m out riding. =)

Wear it. You like the color then buy it and sport it…Maybe, get a designer to make a few designs on it that you like and that you friends think is pretty badass and when you wear it it’ll be much more than a pink helment to them.
Maybe your guy friends just need to man up and realize you can out do them…

I’m a guy and I would wear a pink helmet around your friends just to **** them off. Girl, wear what ever you want. I wouldn’t be ashamed to take you for a ride, pink helmet and all.

think about teaming it with bright pink outfit – that should really p… them off. they are just jealous because they are not game to wear pink. its a macho thing and they just want to make you into a guy instead of being feminine.

it’s a womens helmet and if you want to wear it go for it ,and as far as your friends go they aren’t the one paying for it ,so next time it comes up just tell them if they don’t like the helmet your wearing then they can pick out and pay for one that is up to there standards for you to wear

Saw a complete pink rig go by yesterday, was an eye catcher, Only downside I can think of is if some weirdo predator type decides to follow a gal around. It’s happened to some women riders I know.

There is nothing wrong with pink. In fact, you may be seen easier than if you were wearing a black helmet.
Now, did you see the white and pink mesh riding jacket at the motor-sports plaza? Just the thing for a classy gal.
